Vacation!!!!

I'm on vacation this week! The kids are out of school for Spring Break so I'm going to have some time off with them. We were originally going to go to Kellogg, ID to the new water park and try out our surfing skills but Cameron couldn't get time off from work enough to do that. Shane was suppose to fly to Anchorage to hang with his dad for the week but because of the volcano action up there, Alaska Airlines is not allowing unaccompanied minors to fly in until further notice (completely understandable and appreciated). So now I'm trying to come up with something fun for us to do that will put a smile on the rug rats faces. Maybe a night at the Wingate. They have awesome water slides there. One of them gets cooking so fast you can feel your cheeks pull back (both sets) and....it's a covered slide so it's pitch black until you hit bottom! A complete adrenaline rush!!
Ah! And sleeping in is definitely on the menu. I haven't been sleeping well lately so this poor old bod needs to catch up on some snooze so I can keep up with the rat race!

Good Grief!!

Has it truly been since December that I wrote anything on here?! Holy buckets am I a slacker or what? Well I've been spending a lot of time with my kids because that's what I'm suppose to do and this is my last little bit of time that I have Cameron completely under my wing. Speaking of that boy, he's turning 18 Sunday!! Big stuff!! He still doesn't know what he wants to do for his birthday but I'm sure he'll come up with some kind of plan within the next 48 hours. I know we're going tire shopping to get some new shoes for Monte.

I got a new ride last weekend. It looks like a pimp-mobile or something your gramma would drive but I'm telling you it's the most comfy thing I've ever owned. Here's a pic of my new toy...she's all about leather and luxury. I've fallen in love!

Here's a pic of me out cruising the mountains a few weeks ago too. It was a hoot and I'm glad I did it. One for the memory books.

Here's Gracie Manoodle when we went ice skating last Friday. She looks very surprised to see her mom on skates and operating a camera at the same time. There are moments when I even surprise myself!

Well I'm signing off for now but will try to get back when I have more time!! Hasta la Pasta!
